In mid 2011 it was found that actos causes cancer and it is removed from market in European countries. But in United States the recall is yet cancer from actos to be issued. Actos should not be used with the following medicines Atrovastain, Bitter Melon and Dienogest. But sometimes doctors prescribe with it but they will make changes in dose.
